The role involves direct patient interaction and communication, as well as data entry and equipment operation.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPosition patients on the examining table and apply the appropriate coils as per protocols specified by the Radiologist.\nUtilize a microphone for effective communication between the patient and the technologist during examinations.\nInput patient history, anatomical areas to be scanned, and scan specifications into the computer system.\nMonitor patients through the control room and closed-circuit TV for safety and comfort.\nReview images on display screens to ensure the quality of scans.\nPhotograph images using the camera system.\nAlert staff entering the magnet room about safety protocols regarding metal objects.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\n1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technician.\nGraduate of an Accredited Radiology Program.\nLicensed as an RT in New Jersey.\nMR Certified.\nBLS Certification.\nStrong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.\nExcellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
