As a team we collaborate to solve problems, contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growth and ultimately success for the business and our employees.Job Descriptionand ResponsibilitiesRocky Mountain Steel Mills is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Seamless Mill located in Pueblo, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to lead dynamic teams, foster innovation, and drive efficiency in our production line. As a key player within our company, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including quality assurance and safety, to maintain high standards and meet production targets.Perform daily mill inspections with an eye for safety and productivity issues, coordinate with mill support groups to design and implement countermeasuresUse LEAN manufacturing tools to engage employees to continuously improve mill operationsSchedule and maintain shift manpower for mill operations and trainingOnboard new bargaining employees, ensure that adequate training is taking place and complete timely 720 probation performance evaluationsResponsible for managing an operational and quality team during manufacturing operations and while performing operational maintenance of mechanical equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systemsMaintain necessary inventory of mill supplies, interface with storehouse and vendors as needed for resupply and trialsMaintain and correct electronic and written records including shift performance, heat traceability, and quality assuranceMaintain coaching documents (Note to Self) for all conversations surrounding attendance, behavior, safety, and performanceMaintain KRONOS Pay System by reviewing, editing, and approving employee timecards dailyRequirementsBachelors of Science Degree or equivalent experienceThree years of industrial supervisory experienceProficient in Microsoft Office - Word and ExcelPrevious experience using OracleExcellent planning, time management, and organizational skillsProven ability to organize and motivate production teams for safe, high-quality results and maximum productivityDemonstrated initiative to identify areas, propose and initiate solutionsComfortable working a rotating (days and nights) schedule, as well as holidays and weekends as neededTASCompensation$85,000 - $95,000Open & Closing Dates: 5/4/2026 – 6/3/2026Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!Competitive wages and bonus opportunities Family medical, dental, and prescription coverage at minimal employee cost Short and long term disability programs Competitive retirement plans Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Employer-provided and Voluntary Life Insurance options Paid vacation and recognized statutory holidays Apprenticeship and career advancement within the company Tuition reimbursement Wellness programAll applicants must be eligible to work in the USA.While we thank all those who apply, only those being actively considered for employment will be contacted.Equal Opportunity EmployerOrion Steel Group, L.L.C. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
