Beyond day-to-day reporting, you'll help us reshape how our data is structured behind the scenes so it stays reliable and scalable as we grow.This is a role for someone who thrives as part of a team. You'll partner closely with our Analytics Engineer and collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Project teams - listening to what people need, clarifying definitions together, and delivering insights they can act on with confidence. We're a growing fast-paced organization that values curiosity and initiative, and we'll give you real ownership and the chance to grow alongside us.What You'll DoDashboard & Report DevelopmentBuild, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports in DomoSupport reporting requests from business stakeholders across the companyApply best practices for dashboard usability, performance, and consistencyTest and validate dashboards before release and updatesData Modeling & TransformationBuild standardized metrics and calculations using SQL and ETL logicPrepare and transform raw data from multiple sources into clean, usable datasetsHelp ensure metric definitions are applied consistently across every reportData Quality & ValidationRun data validation and quality checks across dashboards, datasets, and metricsInvestigate inconsistencies and anomalies, and help track down root causesMake sure reported numbers align with documented business logicDocumentation & Change ControlDocument dashboards, metrics, data sources, and reporting processesMaintain metric definitions and data logic documentationTrack changes to dashboards and metrics to support transparency and controlled updatesCollaboration & Stakeholder SupportPartner with Analytics, Finance, Operations, and Project teams to understand reporting needsCommunicate clearly about data definitions, limitations, and updatesWork independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively across teamsWhat We're Looking ForRequired1-2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or a related data roleHands-on experience with a major BI / data visualization tool - Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo, or similarHands-on ETL / data transformation experience - cleaning, reshaping, and modeling raw data, not only building charts on finished dataWorking knowledge of SQLBasic comfort pulling data from systems through their APIs, or a clear willingness and aptitude to learnAbility to explain data clearly to non-technical partners in Finance and OperationsComfort using AI tools to work faster and smarter - we want someone who embraces them to streamline tasks, optimize processes, and solve problemsStrong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracyAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple prioritiesNatural curiosity - you dig into why a number looks off and chase down the root causeBachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent practical experienceNice to HaveExperience with a data warehouse or semantic layerExperience with data governance, or building a semantic layer / data warehouse modelConstruction or project-based industry experience; CMiC or similar ERP exposureDirect Domo experience, including its newer AI / agent featuresExposure to Python for data analysis or automationHow We WorkIn alignment with GCON's core values, our BI team approaches reporting with integrity, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset - making sure stakeholders have reliable information they can confidently use to guide business decisions.
