Sr. Dispatcher

Shift: 8AM -5PM; Monday- Friday Position Summary This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. Essential Functions Engage in weekly operation planning with Program Manager Collaborate daily with dispatch team on driver loading schedules and resource sharing Work with Maintenance Manager on PM compliance for assigned equipment by location Receive and consolidate loads from the customer into the dispatch system daily Data entry and admin support for daily delivery confirmation, billing and payroll duties Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations Lead and mentor dispatch team Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously On-call Duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree preferred 5 years of dispatching experience Excellent conflict resolution and skills Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
