Revenue Accountant

Job Summary:Sabine is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our fast-paced accounting team. Position responsibilities include processing oil and gas revenues for operated and non-operated properties, processing prior period adjustments (PPAs), preparing account reconciliations and analysis and supporting various team projects.Responsibilities:Process oil and gas revenues and related deducts/taxes for operated properties timely and accuratelyProcess prior period adjustments (PPAs) for operated propertiesProcess and review oil and gas accruals for operated and non-operated propertiesPrepare and analyze monthly account reconciliationsAllocate cashLead monthly revenue check-write process including netted checksAnswer royalty owner questionsAssist with special projectsSupport audits and similar inquiriesAnalysis of monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue resultsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Preferred candidates have 4+ years of experienceOil and Gas Industry experience preferredAbility to commute to office in Houston, TX 77002Skills:Proficient in Microsoft ExcelSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/prioritiesStrong organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsCritical thinker with the ability to recognize problems and find solutionsBolo experience preferredEMK3 experience preferredEducation or Formal Training:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business (Required)
