We are committed to delivering low-cost, low-carbon energy solutions while adhering to the highest ESG standards.Role DescriptionThis full-time on-site position, based in Houston, TX, is for an Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role plays a critical function in supporting financial integrity, internal controls, and strategic decision-making across the organization.The Accounting Manager will lead core accounting functions including general ledger, project accounting, and month-end close.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Close ProcessPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.Maintain an accounting calendar to ensure timely and accurate reporting cycles.Accounting OperationsOversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivableManage project accounting activities, ensuring accurate cost tracking and revenue recognitionMonitor and manage cash flow, accruals, and financial transactionsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)5–8 years of accounting experienceIndustry experience in oil & gas, energy services, or project-based environments preferredTechnical SkillsKnowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with QuickBooks (required)/accounting systems and advanced Excel skillsFamiliarity with project accounting and revenue recognition methodologiesCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
