Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose:Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.At Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center, part of Saint Mary's Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients.What You Will DoProvide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures.Minimum QualificationsRequired:Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is requiredValid RN license in ConnecticutIdeal candidates will have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experiencePreferred:Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)Familiarity with AORN standardsImportant Consideration This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through the Periop 101 program.
