Pay: 80-90k annuallyBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401kI'm Responsible For…Oversight of financial transactions for multiple residential and commercial properties, ensuring accurate and complete posting of transactions in the general ledgerPerforming monthly bank and credit card account reconciliationsPreparing monthly financial statement packages for management and ownershipAssisting in monthly financial statement analysis and annual budget preparationOverseeing a remote staff accountant processing accounts payable invoices in Buildium/Yardi, ensuring proper posting to the appropriate entity and expense accountsAccurately recording bank transactions in Buildium/YardiSetting up new vendors in the accounting software and collecting W9s and Certificates of InsuranceCoordinating with our outside tax accounting firm on income tax returnsPreparing 1099-INT and 1099-NEC formsLeading software system design and implementation, and documenting processes and procedures as we scaleEstablishing internal controls for the organizationCommunicating in a professional manner and providing accounting guidance and recommendations to managementI'm Qualified Because I Have…A Bachelor's degree in Accounting5–10 years of full-cycle accounting experienceWorking knowledge of tax matters relevant to real estate/property managementExperience with systems implementation, ideally in a property management settingThe ability to succeed in a start-up environment and a genuine desire to build and maintain a strong accounting functionStrong communication skills and comfort advising management directlyFamiliarity with Buildium and/or Yardi is a plus but not required Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
