Epic Willow Project Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Project Manager to lead the Willow Ambulatory implementation across outpatient and ambulatory pharmacy sites. This is a long‑term, high‑visibility initiative with a planned go‑live in October–November 2027.This role requires someone who understands Willow Ambulatory workflows, device and application deployment, and large‑scale Epic implementations in complex healthcare environments. Project OverviewEnterprise implementation of Epic Willow AmbulatoryRollout across outpatient ambulatory pharmaceutical sites, including hospital‑owned outpatient pharmacies and affiliated pharmacy locationsExtensive device and application work already scoped and documentedDetailed discovery completed; checklist finalizedEpic Analyst resources already hired and in place Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary Project Manager for the Willow Ambulatory implementation from current phase through go‑liveLead and coordinate a team of 7 Epic Analysts and collaborate with the Data Technology Solutions Manager (IS)Own project planning, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependenciesCoordinate device and application readiness, including on‑site activities as requiredPartner with pharmacy, IS, Epic teams, and external consultants to ensure successful deliveryLeverage an existing Epic consultant resource who will continue supporting on‑site and implementation activitiesProvide clear executive‑level communication, status reporting, and issue resolutionEnsure the project stays aligned with Epic best practices, timeline commitments, and organizational goals Required ExperienceProven experience as a Project Manager on Epic implementationsWillow background strongly preferred, specifically Willow Ambulatory Epic certification is a plus but not requiredExperience managing long‑term healthcare IT implementations (12–24 months)Ability to understand, plan, and support installation and deployment of Epic productsStrong experience coordinating device builds, application workflows, and on‑site activitiesComfortable leading cross‑functional teams in complex healthcare environmentsWillingness and ability to come on‑site as needed for milestones, device work, and critical phases Team & Environment7 Epic Analysts already staffed1 IS ManagerExisting Epic consultant available to support implementation and on‑site workStructured, mature Epic environment with significant upfront discovery already completed Why This RoleThis is an opportunity to lead a flagship Willow Ambulatory implementation at scale, with strong internal support, defined scope, and a long runway through go‑live.
