Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of recent specialty experience and prior travel experience.Job Details• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center,• Med/Surg Telemetry unit,• Patient ratio of 1:7 under a team nursing model, with support from PCCs, LPNs, and other staff,• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00),• On-call required as needed,• Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis,• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within 20 miles,• Cerner EMR experience preferred,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active RN license - TN state license or NLC Compact license required; no pending licensure accepted,• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required; 3+ years preferred,• Level I Trauma Center experience required,• Large hospital experience required,• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered,• ADN degree minimum required for this position,• Driver's License required for consideration,• BLS certification required; certifications expiring during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan,Additional Information• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO cannot be approved after an offer has been made,• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered,• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler,
