Details Work in an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown Unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Option for either 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedule Weekend availability required Holiday coverage required 13-week assignment with possibility of extension Skills required include IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum one year of recent critical care and ICU experience required Intermediate care/stepdown unit experience required Proficiency with IV starts, lab draws, and titrating critical drips required Previous travel nursing experience preferred Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Provide intermediate-level nursing care to stepdown patients, including monitoring and titrating critical drips Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility Minimal time off (RTO) is available during this assignment Candidates residing between 31–50 miles from the facility may be subject to a reduced pay rate First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-685356.
