With operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia, we deliver advanced power technologies to customers worldwide.As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our engineering team and seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in power electronics to help design and develop next-generation high-voltage power supply systems.This role offers the opportunity to work on complex analog and power electronics designs, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to products used in demanding technical applications.Position OverviewThe Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of high-voltage power supply products and custom customer solutions. This role involves working across the entire product development cycle-from concept and prototype through qualification and production. The ideal candidate has strong experience in power electronics design, including switching power supplies or DC-DC converters, and is interested in applying their expertise to high-voltage systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-voltage power supplies and related electronic systemsEvaluate customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and product designsDesign analog and digital control circuits for power electronics systemsDevelop and optimize DC-DC converters, switching power supplies, and feedback compensation networksDesign and evaluate transformers, magnetics, and voltage multiplier circuitsPerform prototype development, bench testing, and design validationModify schematics and support PCB layout to ensure optimal electrical performance and manufacturabilityCollaborate with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective product designsLead engineering projects and provide technical updates to management and customersSupport qualification testing, reliability testing, and extended life testingAssist manufacturing engineering with design transfer and production documentationWork with technicians, vendors, and external consultants as requiredProvide technical support to internal teams including manufacturing, quality, and sales.RequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent10+ years of progressive experience in electronic designStrong experience in switching power supply design or DC-DC converter designExperience with feedback control loop compensationStrong troubleshooting and circuit analysis skillsExperience working with prototypes, testing, and design validationAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teamsStrong communication and technical documentation skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience designing high-voltage power suppliesKnowledge of voltage multipliers and high-voltage circuitsExperience with transformer and magnetics designFamiliarity with PCB design collaboration and layout reviewExperience supporting products from concept through production release.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage401(k) retirement planPaid vacation and holidaysWork-life balance in a supportive engineering cultureOpportunity to work on innovative high-voltage technologies.About Dean TechnologyDean Technology is a privately held engineering and manufacturing company specializing in high-voltage solutions.
