Dispatcher 1st Shift

Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of all shipment information into PRMS and maintaining documents/files in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, including dock usage.Position FunctionsCommunicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, Customer Service, and the rest of the team on a regular basis (conference calls, proactive communication, and information sharing as needed)Maintaining supplies and order as needed (includes office supplies, BOL's, templates, etc.)Dispatch all outbound loads, confirm the destination, and seal trailersAccurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMSFollowing proper documentation proceduresShip confirmation of Customer ordersShuttle BOL's, e-mails, documents, and communicationCompliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsOversee VOICE Queue disseminates work to all associates. Troubleshoot system issues to ensure workflow continues.Responsible for order assignment request and truck check-inMaintain all paperwork, files, and documents according to company policy and procedureControl movement/loading of all empty pallets and bin trailers.
