What You Will Do: As a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provider, you will work primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with additional weekend call coverage. You will be responsible for patient contact during 12-hour call shifts, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care with minimal callbacks. You will work 7-10 days per month, with guaranteed hours of 8 per day, and overtime opportunities after 10 hours, subject to prior approval. Your role will involve collaborative communication with the medical director and onsite team to ensure seamless service delivery. Required Skills: Active California medical license and CA DEA registration Board certification or eligibility within 3-5 years of residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical skills in inpatient and outpatient PM&R settings Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and documentation abilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience with pain management procedures Knowledge of electronic health records systems Additional certifications related to specialist procedures or therapies Previous experience in hospital-based or rehabilitation settings Preferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution 2+ years of current hospital-based clinical activity in PM&R Clear explanation for gaps exceeding 3 months in professional history Submission of current case logs for surgical or procedural specialties Other Requirements: Valid California state license and DEA registration required before privileging Ability and willingness to travel as specified; reimbursements provided for airport parking and pre-approved rental cars, taxis, or rideshare from destination airport to lodging and during deployment Commitment to timely completion of credentialing, with typical turnaround within 90 days Application and RFA submissions within 5 days, with privilege processing expected in 48-72 hours Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Please note this is a placeholder; actual rate to be determined) Competitive pay packages and weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program and dedicated 24/7 team support throughout your assignment This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the support and resources you deserve.
