Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in Pressure Vessels and Tanks to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling pressure vessels and tanks in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality, durable components used across various industrial applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to fabrication. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate pressure vessels and tanks. Perform welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and Stick welding techniques to meet project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components. Conduct precise measurements with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure dimensional accuracy. Apply rigging and crane operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely during fabrication and assembly processes. Follow ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards to ensure all pressure vessels meet safety and quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times during construction site activities. Collaborate with team members on pipe threading, ductwork installation, mechanical assembly, and other fabrication tasks as needed. Experience Proven construction site experience working with pressure vessels or large-scale tank fabrication projects. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques, with a strong understanding of welding standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication. Hands-on experience operating rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts in a manufacturing or construction environment. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessel manufacturing is highly desirable. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining tools effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, soldering, assembly processes, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
