Security Screener

Security Screener Shift/Schedule: Full Time days 11:30am-8:00pmServes as the initial greeter to all patients, visitors, and employees entering the facility. Screens persons entering the facility in accordance with organizational protocols. Creates and issues visitor badges to people entering the facility. Anticipates customer needs and utilizes problem-solving skills to find solutions to difficult situations. Monitors the immediate environment and reports any suspicious activity, crimes, and safety irregularities to campus security. Assists during emergencies including fire, natural disasters, health-related situations, and infant abductions. Upholds visitation guidelines and other applicable procedures, guidelines, and restrictions as necessary. Uses computer skills to assist guests, patients, and healthcare team with appropriate information. Maintains up-to-date and thorough knowledge of associated phone numbers for the main hospital and/or ancillary locations, as applicable.
