Apartment Maintenance Technician - Villas of Castleton

Villas of Castleton, located in Marietta, PA, is in need of a qualified worker to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred. Candidate will float between Villas of Castleton and Lancaster Lofts properties. *Hourly rate is $22 an hour based on experience* At WPM your job as a Service Technician is to respond to maintenance repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for move-in for new residents. Some of your responsibilities will include: General maintenance Appliance repair Maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety on the property’s grounds Participating in a rotating on-call schedule Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated basic plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills required Must be available on-call for emergencies on evenings, weekends, and holidays Valid driver’s license and vehicle required Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent 3-5 years’ maintenance experience required HVAC certification required Licenses & Certifications Required HVAC certification Skills Preferred Snow removal Following safety procedures Kitchen Appliance Equipment repair and maintenance Electronics repair Building maintenance Dry wall installation Customer service Carpentry Basic plumbing Behaviors Required Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
