Apartment Maintenance Tech- Lancaster Lofts

Lancaster Lofts is in need of an experienced Maintenance Tech to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred. Must have valid driver's license and vehicle to travel during the work day between sites.Apartment Service Technician Location: Lancaster, PASchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, rotating on call after hoursStarting Hourly Rate: $23/h+ Phone allowanceResponsibilitiesAt WPM your job as a Service Technician is to respond to maintenance repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for move-in for new residents. Some of your responsibilities will include:HVAC troubleshooting and maintenanceHanging, prepping, and sanding drywallElectrical repairsUpkeep and repair of appliancesPlumbing workPainting common areas and apartmentsMaintaining cleanliness, order, and safety on the property’s groundsAssisting with snow removalParticipating in a rotating on-call schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage for emergenciesRequired Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesDemonstrated plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills requiredMust be available on-call for emergencies on evenings, weekends, and holidaysValid driver’s license, vehicle and travel requiredAble to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures and equipmentRequired to work on ladders, lift to a height up to 85’Education And ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent3-5 years’ experience in site maintenance requiredIND2
