Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a General Contractor based in The Colony, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. The General Contractor will oversee new build residential construction projects, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role also involves supervising renovation activities, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. Qualifications Expertise in General Contracting and Construction, including hands-on experience in overseeing and executing new build residential construction projects Proficiency in Project Management and Construction Management, with a strong ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple projectsExperience in new build residential homes and familiarity with modern construction methodologies and materialsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to address unexpected challenges on-siteExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of local and national building codes and safety regulationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferredRelevant certifications such as PMP, OSHA, or LEED accreditation are a plus
