Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 6 OR suites and 2 Endoscopy suites Surgical specialties include orthopedics, urology, GYN, general surgery, Robotic Xi, and endoscopy 1:1 patient ratio Day shift: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM On-call required approximately 5–7 days per month No block scheduling No floating required Paper charting Requirements Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start) Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Experience in orthopedics, urology, GYN, general surgery, Robotic Xi, and endoscopy required Travel nursing experience preferred Valid driver's license required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Role functions as an OR Circulator across multiple surgical specialties Scrubs are provided by the facility RTO requests must be less than one week in duration; maximum of 3 days RTO per contract Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-681733.
