We are embracing AI‐assisted development workflows and seeking engineers who can leverage tools like Claude Code to accelerate development, improve code quality, and drive innovation.If you're a goal‐oriented team player with a passion for building great solutions and are up for your next challenge, we'd like to speak with you.We'd love to hear from you if you have:7+ years of professional front‐end development experience with 4+ years of deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScriptProven experience leading technical initiatives, making architectural decisions, and setting technical direction for front‐end applicationsStrong understanding of React patterns, including hooks, context, component composition, and state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)Experience building component libraries and design systems using Storybook, with a focus on creating stateless, reusable components that prioritize composition and performanceHands‐on experience with AI‐assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and well‐developed opinions on effective AI interaction patterns and workflowsDemonstrated ability to effectively prompt and collaborate with AI coding assistants to accelerate development, with experience integrating these tools into team workflows for code review, refactoring, test generation, or documentationTrack record of mentoring and growing engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidanceExperience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack), testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright), and CI/CD pipelinesDemonstrated ability to write clean, testable code with strong automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end‐to‐end testsExperience optimizing front‐end performance, including bundle size reduction, code splitting, lazy loading, and Core Web VitalsAbility to work independently, lead cross‐functional collaboration with product and design teams, and drive projects to completionUnderstanding of system design principles, including loose coupling, separation of concerns, and scalable architecture patternsUS citizenship or existing work visaIt would be a plus if you have:Hands‐on experience with Claude Code for development workflows such as code review, refactoring, or test generationExperience with Flutter for mobile development – we maintain several Flutter applications that need ongoing improvements and feature workExperience in the logistics industryExperience writing automation or other integration tests, or experience with snapshot testingSome things you'll be doing at RoadSync:Lead the technical direction and architecture of our React‐based web platform and Flutter mobile applications serving the logistics and payments industryDesign and build scalable front‐end features for our SaaS platform, including payment processing, invoice management, and carrier/fleet operations toolsEstablish and evolve our component library in Storybook, creating reusable, stateless components that accelerate feature development across the platformDrive the modernization of our codebase by leading migration efforts from legacy code to modern React patterns, TypeScript, and current best practicesLeverage Claude Code and AI‐assisted development workflows throughout the development lifecycle—from initial feature design and implementation to refactoring, test generation, and documentationMentor and grow the front‐end team through code reviews, pair programming sessions, and sharing best practices for both React development and effective AI‐assisted workflowsChampion engineering excellence by writing clean, well‐tested code and establishing testing standards, including unit, integration, and end‐to‐end test coverageCollaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives to maintain team velocity and delivery predictabilityMake key technical decisions on tooling, libraries, and architectural patterns that will shape the future of our front‐end ecosystemWhy You'll Love It HereRoadSync is a team of passionate professionals in research, sales, technical, marketing, design, success, and operations.
