Our client or the "Company" is a long-established, private equity-backed specialty abrasives manufacturer based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, that is searching for a hands-on Controller who can help build and lead the company's standalone finance and accounting function. This is an opportunity to join the Company at an important inflection point. Following its acquisition by a private equity sponsor, the Company is operating through a carveout, implementing new systems, building internal infrastructure, and positioning itself for continued organic growth and future M&A. The Controller will report to the CFO and play a critical role in bringing structure, discipline, and forward-looking financial insight to the business across multiple locations.Key areas of responsibility include:Leading day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and general ledger managementBuilding scalable accounting processes, controls, reporting, and dashboardsSupporting forecasting, cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationshipsOverseeing payroll and multi-location accounting processesPartnering with operations and leadership to improve visibility, decision-making, and performanceSupporting ERP implementation, carveout execution, integration work, and growth initiativesThe ideal candidate will bring progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, multi-location, public accounting, private equity-backed, or high-growth environments.
