Case Administrator / Legal Operations Specialist

Title: Case Administrator / Legal Operations Specialist Location : Washington, DC Target Start Date : ASAP Type: contract Pay Rate: DOE This role supports adjudicatory and legal proceedings by managing case workflows, coordinating between stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all case-related documentation. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support legal professionals throughout the lifecycle of a case. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of assigned cases, including maintaining accurate and complete case records and documentation Coordinate case workflows by tracking deadlines, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely execution of required actions Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents such as notices, orders, decisions, and correspondence Serve as a liaison between legal professionals, parties, and counsel to facilitate communication and resolve procedural matters Review and validate submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedural requirements Proofread and cite-check legal documents; verify facts against case records and ensure proper formatting and distribution Support hearings and pre-hearing activities, including coordinating logistics and managing evidence materials Identify and proactively resolve issues that may arise throughout the case lifecycle Compile reports, metrics, and case-related data to support operational tracking and decision-making Participate in special projects and operational initiatives as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification required Experience in paralegal, legal operations, or case management environments preferred Strong writing, editing, and legal research skills Experience with legal research tools and cite-checking processes Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business tools Preferred Experience Experience supporting litigation or regulatory/legal proceedings Familiarity with legal procedures, documentation standards, and case lifecycle management Work Environment Primarily onsite role Occasional travel may be required Flexibility to work extended hours based on case demands Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
