Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and service standards. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food production, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food service, efficient inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee menu planning, food presentation, and quality control to meet fine dining standards. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs through effective inventory management. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Lead shift management by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining team productivity. Oversee catering events and special functions, ensuring seamless execution. Train new staff members on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety procedures. Collaborate with management on menu development and operational improvements. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment conducive to high-quality food production. Experience Proven banquet experience with a strong background in catering or large-scale event service. Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably within fine dining or culinary operations. Extensive knowledge of food production, menu planning, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Familiarity with restaurant management systems and food service management practices. Prior experience in the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence and customer satisfaction is highly desirable.
