MSLs are responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders involved in various phases of product development. MSLs provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced manner and provide clinical/scientific support for our Cell Therapy Autoimmune products at Bristol Myers Squibb in coordination with our Medical Affairs Department.This is a field-based position and requires professionals with established personal and scientific creditability to interact with thought leaders and centers of excellence. The position involves travel of more than 50%.Responsibilities will include:Identify, establish and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator initiated research.Develop and execute geography-specific Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and KOL needs.Partner with other BMS MSL teams to achieve CTAI objectives and goals with rheumatologists and hematologistsSupport patient education initiatives, serving as subject matter expert on BMS pipeline and investigational therapiesProvide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic and healthcare provider settings in both group and one-on-one situations.Collaborate with the Clinical research and development organization to enhance patient enrolment in BMS-sponsored clinical trials by identifying appropriate trial sites and actively interacting with participating investigators.Provide scientific support at National, Regional and Local medical congresses/meetings.Capture and provide timely feedback/insights to internal stakeholders regarding the cell therapy and autoimmune treatment landscape for strategy development.Skills/Knowledge Required:Attainment of terminal degree in medical science (PA-C, DNP, Pharm D, M.D., or Ph.D.) is required3-5 years clinical or research experience in cell therapy or an autoimmune disease OR 3-5 years as a medical science liaison in cell therapy or autoimmune disease landscapesCell therapy or rheumatology experience strongly preferredProven ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teamsCurrent working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with health-care professionalsAbility to partner and maintain relationships within the medical communityExcellent communication, presentation and time management skillsTranslating scientific or clinical data into understandable and valuable information to help physicians best serve their patientsLI-RemoteIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
