Litigation Legal Secretary

Litigation Legal Secretary LHH is recruiting for one of their law firm clients in Boston thats looking for an experiencedLegal Secretaryto support a team of 5 attorneys by managing complex administrative, organizational, and case?related tasks. This role requires exceptional multitasking ability, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of legal processes within state and federal judicial systemsparticularly in the area of labor and employment law. This hybrid opportunity is based inBoston, MA . This role requires 3 days on-site, 2 days remote. Key Responsibilities The Legal Secretary will play a critical role in supporting legal operations, including: Practice & Case Management Coordinate workflow across attorney support teams and shared?services departments Submit well?documented requests for administrative or case?related support Ensure attorney teams are aligned and not duplicating internal requests Monitor and verify court deadlines, proactively alerting attorneys of updates Create, update, and maintain litigation matter files in case management systems Document Production & Filing Prepare and finalize documents for court or agency filings Manage e?filing submissions in compliance with all rules and procedures Draft and assemble Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities Ensure accurate and timely filing of documents within the organizations document?management systems Administrative Support Coordinate transcription of legal audio files Manage printing, assembly, and distribution of case documents as needed Maintain attorney contact lists and CRM data Submit daily task logs summarizing work completed Review and edit client pre?bills (as assigned) Qualifications Required: Minimum6-10 years of legal administrative experience Strong background supporting multiple attorneys in a fast?paced environment Expertise in managing competing deadlines and anticipating attorney needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced experience preparing TOCs and TOAs In?depth knowledge of court rules, including electronic filing procedures Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, and legal document?management software Ability to draft, format, and revise legal correspondence and filings Strong understanding of legal terminology Preferred: Prior experience supporting labor & employment law practices Compensation & Work Model Hybrid schedulebased in Boston, MA Compensation ranges approximately$53.85$61.54 per hour , depending on experience Eligibility for performance?based incentives Comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, and wellness programs Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
