Subcontract Program Manager

Description:You will be the Subcontract Program Manager for the Precision Fires Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‐impact precision fire solutions.What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Program Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals that drive the GMLRS Standard Range Program supply chain, from development through transition to production.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Directing procurement activities such as RFI/RFP issuance, purchase order management, and supplier execution.Identifying, qualifying, and managing second‐source suppliers to mitigate risk.Developing risk mitigation plans and monitoring supplier performance.Supporting prime proposal efforts and collaborating with engineering and program offices to define requirements.Traveling as needed to engage with suppliers and program stakeholders.Why Join UsThe ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast‐paced, technically complex environment. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
