Description:You will be the Subcontract Program Manager for the Precision Fires Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‐impact precision fire solutions.What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Program Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals that drive the GMLRS Standard Range Program supply chain, from development through transition to production.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Directing procurement activities such as RFI/RFP issuance, purchase order management, and supplier execution.Identifying, qualifying, and managing second‐source suppliers to mitigate risk.Developing risk mitigation plans and monitoring supplier performance.Supporting prime proposal efforts and collaborating with engineering and program offices to define requirements.Traveling as needed to engage with suppliers and program stakeholders.Why Join UsThe ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast‐paced, technically complex environment. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.Basic Qualifications:Must have ability to obtain secret security clearanceMajor Subcontract Management experience in a defense environmentWorking knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirementsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent written and spoken communication skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to develop teammatesProficient in Microsoft Office suite of applicationsProblem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externallyDesired Skills:Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin acquisition proceduresAbility to manage a large bill of material and ensure parts are available in support of the Internal Operating PlanExperience with managing Fixed Price and Cost Plus subcontractsExperience in managing large subcontractorsFamiliar with FAR Part 15 requirementsStrong negotiation and documentation skillsExperience in training, mentoring, and motivating direct reports.Proficient in summarizing complex data and presenting to executive level and customerSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
