Learn more at www.israelrescue.org.Job Description:Friends of United Hatzalah seeks a Data Specialist, Donation Operations to join our U.S.-based team. This full-time position is based in our New York City headquarters on a hybrid in-office work schedule. The position reports to the Manager of Donation Operations and will be a key member of the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable and process-driven, a self-starter with a passion for Israel and our lifesaving mission. This candidate will process and record gifts as they are received, creating accurate donor records, overseeing receipts and acknowledgements, maintaining data integrity in our Salesforce CRM, and collaborating with staff across the fundraising, finance, and operations teams. This position will work within a friendly and sociable team full of like-minded individuals and grow a meaningful career in the non-profit sector.Key Responsibilities:Donation Processing & Revenue ManagementTrack and record daily donations from multiple donation platforms within set time limitsParticipate in the daily processing of mail in collaboration with the Finance TeamOversee our direct mail and telemarketing campaign revenueSupport revenue reconciliation across systemsData Management & Systems AccuracyMaintain accurate donor and donation records in Salesforce and our financial subsystemRegularly review, update and maintain data records to ensure accuracy and data integrityCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure donation data is configured to enhance tracking and reportingDonor AcknowledgementPrepare and send timely and accurate charitable receipts and acknowledgement lettersProjects & Process ImprovementExecute needed Salesforce data management projectsPropose and implement recommendations for process improvementsQualifications:Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:Undergraduate degree with demonstrated experience managing payment processing, data entry, or similarStrong computer literacy, including advanced Excel skillsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and meticulousness in recording informationStrong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize, with strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-throughPassion for United Hatzalah’s mission of saving lives in IsraelStrongly Preferred:Experience within a non-profit environmentFamiliarity with Salesforce or similar CRMFamiliarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting softwareSalary range: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year, with comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement plan with employer match, and paid holidays/time off.To Apply: Qualified candidates should send a cover letter and resume to Jobs@israelrescue.org The subject line of the email should include the words “Data Specialist, Donation Operations”.
