Job Title: Sr IT Project Manager - PMP Duration: 6 months contract on W2Location: Hybrid (Portland, OR)Desired Skills:5+ years working in software environmentExperience managing software development projects in the $1M-$2M rangeExperience With Managing The SDLC Processes And Required DocumentationExperience with MS project and SmartsheetCan do attitude and comfortable managing multiple high priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with colleaguesKnowledge of Jira or Similar Agile management systems preferredProject Management /Scrum master certification in Agile, Scaled Agile or PMI certification preferredJob Description: This PM will guide various projects from inception through completion in our client s Customer Application Space. Depending on the specific project they are assigned, they will be expected to shepherd through internal processes as well as production release across our various Teams. This resource will be working with 6 8-person development teams plus stakeholders.The initial project will be a Large System upgrade project. This program is upgrading the core customer information system for our client and requires multiple updates across the application ecosystem and has been in flight for most of this year. The PM role is supporting a minimum of two of the workstreams within the overall program.Job Responsibilities:Plan and organize project tasks based on priorities and deadlines, communicating with others involved in the project as neededTrack and monitor the progress of projects to ensure that deadlines are met, and objectives are accomplishedCommunicate with stakeholders and team members on a regular basis to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding project statusCoordinate with other members of the project team and across divisionsCoordinate with vendors to ensure that all materials are available for projectsWork with clients to determine their needs and wants so that projects can be designed accordinglyEnsure that all team members have the resources needed for their tasks, such as software and equipmentManage the budget and finances of projects, creating reports of spending and adjusting when needed Education/ CertificationsBachelor s degree, PMP preferred, scrum/agile a plusSr IT Project Manager - PMP
