About the Practice An established and growing pain management practice with multiple locations spanning New York City (NYC) and Queens, NY , is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician Assistant (PA). The practice offers comprehensive care for patients dealing with pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and venous disease, operating in a highly professional and supportive environment. Opportunity A full-time NP/PA job opening is immediately available, focusing on clinical care within the practice's specialties. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a fixed, full-time schedule: No call, no nights, or weekends . The provider will be responsible for managing patients from initial consultation through follow-up visits and has the opportunity to potentially perform trigger point and joint injections . Experience in Pain Management cases is required. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial consultations and follow-up visits for patients presenting with pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and venous disease. Take detailed patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic studies. Diagnose conditions, formulate treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate. Have the opportunity to perform minor interventional procedures, such as trigger point and joint injections . Provide patient education on conditions, treatment options, and disease management. Collaborate with the pain management and venous disease physicians to ensure integrated and continuous patient care. Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records (EHR). Qualifications Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York (or eligibility for licensure). Certification from the appropriate national board (NCCPA for PA; AANP/ANCC for NP). Experience in Pain Management cases is required. Experience with musculoskeletal conditions or venous disease is a plus. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills. Ability to learn and potentially perform minor injection procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Current BLS certification. Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary : Around $140,000 - $150,000 (W-2). Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, with no call, nights, or weekends.
