Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join Paradise Beach Homes. Paradise Beach Homes is one of the leading vacation property management company on the Gulf Coast and has been providing top level service for 40+ years. In this role, you will be helping on all front of operations, ensuring that our portfolio of luxury vacation rentals remains safe, functional, and guest-ready. You will handle everything from routine preventative maintenance to urgent "on-the-fly" repairs during guest stays. General Repairs & Troubleshooting: Perform minor plumbing (leaky faucets, toilet clogs), electrical (bulb/fixture replacement), sheetrock/painting/caulking, and minor appliance repairs, etc. Preventative Maintenance: Execute monthly and seasonal checklists, including HVAC filter changes, testing smoke/CO detectors, and inspecting smart locks. Urgent Guest Requests: Respond quickly to maintenance tickets during active stays to ensure a seamless guest experience. Exterior Maintenance: Perform light landscaping, lawn cleanup, grill cleaning, and debris removal to maintain high curb appeal. Digital Documentation: Use property management software (e.g., Breezeway) to update work orders and document completed tasks. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Not required but valued. Any experience of maintenance , preferably in hospitality, vacation rentals, or multifamily housing. Technical Skills: Strong basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repair. Software Proficiency: Comfort using mobile apps for task management and communicating with the property manager. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and coworkers. Licensing: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (company vehicle will be provided). Physical Requirements & Schedule Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory weekends, some holidays, and on-call rotations, as these are the busiest times for vacation rentals. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
