Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading provider in banking, is hiring a Java Developer in Minneapolis, MN!*This is a 1-year contract with benefits!*In this role, you will design, develop, and support backend Java APIs and microservices for a new digital customer onboarding platform. You will work in an Agile environment to build scalable, resilient applications using Java, Spring, Kafka, and container technologies, while delivering high-quality, automated, and production-ready solutions.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs and microservices to support a new digital customer onboarding platform.Build and deploy scalable, resilient backend applications using Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and SQL/MongoDB technologies.Collaborate within Agile scrum teams to implement automated testing, troubleshoot issues, and deliver production-ready solutions on an aggressive timeline.Requirments:5+ years Java backend (REST APIs, Microservices)Spring, Kafka, SQL/MongoDB, Kubernetes/OpenShiftAgile, GitHub, test automation experienceMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
