We’re now the #1 Phone Plan Provider on Consumer Reports and growing fast - including our team!As a People Operations Associate, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations and work closely with our People Operations Manager, Talent, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to HR strategy, systems building, and cross-functional collaboration, while helping to deliver a seamless employee experience.What you'll do:Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and system accessMaintain accurate employee records in HRIS, benefits systems, and internal tracking toolsAssist with benefits administration and employee inquiriesSupport HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsHelp develop and maintain employee policies, handbooks, and documentation with People Ops ManagerScreen incoming HR correspondence and escalate time-sensitive matters to People Ops ManagerCoordinate recruiting processes and help ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transitionAssist with reporting, audits, and data hygiene for operational accuracySupport company-wide people programs including performance cycles, engagement initiatives, learning opportunities, and recognition programsHelp organize our annual company offsite (previous locations: Tokyo, Dubai, Hawaii)Build scalable People Ops systems, templates, and workflowsSkills and Experience:1–3 years in People Operations, HR, or related operations roleStartup, tech, or high-growth experience preferredBachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experienceProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)Familiarity with HR tools and systems (HRIS, performance management)Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with PEO (Justworks) and benefits administration a plusWhy You'll Love This Role:Hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycleDirect exposure to building People Ops processes and systemsOpportunity to support high-impact cultural moments like global company offsitesCollaborative, fast-paced, hybrid work environment in New York CityGrowth and professional development opportunities within a scaling organizationBenefits$100/mo USM credit for your phone / family / friends etcGym ReimbursementFlexible PTOMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansThink you're a good fit?
