Based in our New York office, you will deliver Human Resources services to AlphaSights team across our US offices in New York and San Francisco. Founded in 2008, AlphaSights is a fast-growing, founder-led company.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR questions from employeesAdminister and manage employee benefits programs including self-funded health insurance, HSA, commuter benefits, 401(k), LOA, ADA claims, and COBRA: serving as the go-to resource for employee benefits questions and issue resolutionSupport the lead who plans Open Enrollment and take an active role in communicating and executing our annual open enrollment, including system configuration, employee education sessions, and enrollment auditsSupport the management of the company's self-funded health insurance plan, including claims monitoring, stop-loss reporting, plan performance analysis, and coordination with TPAs and brokersPrepare and maintain benefits-related reporting, including monthly utilization reports, funding analyses, and renewal data to support strategic decision-makingContribute to the calculation and process of monthly benefit related inputs for payroll and reconciles vendor bills with payroll deductionsAssist with compliance requirements such as ACA reporting, EEO-1 filing, HSA audit and 401(k) auditWork with the Talent Acquisition and Professional Development teams in the onboarding of new employees and offboarding of departing employeesManage documentation processes around employee promotions, raises, and internal transfersHelp drive operational improvements to HR processesWork on Talent Development processes, such as performance management (PIPs) manager promotions and internal talent reviewsLiaise with stakeholders regarding talent and employee relationsAssist with visa processes and support the global relocation processCreate ad-hoc reports as neededHelp design, implement, and drive company policies and processesTake ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the HR ManagerMaintain strict confidentiality at all times to build trust in the organization and the Human Resources functionBuild relationships and work with our Professional Development, Payroll, Finance, IT Engineering, Workplace Experience, and Talent Acquisition teamsRequirements1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist, HR Operations or Benefits Administration roleBachelor’s degree, with strong academic credentials (minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA) and noteworthy extracurricular leadershipDirect experience supporting open enrollment processes, including employee communications, system setup, and enrollment reconciliationFamiliarity with self-funded health insurance plan administration, including working with TPAs, brokers, and stop-loss carriersWorking knowledge of benefits compliance requirements (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125)Strong attention to detail and highly organizedAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHigh degree of professionalism and integrityEmpathy and an approachable demeanorPermanent work authorization in the United StatesCompensation And BenefitsExpected total compensation of $85,000.17 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week.Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) match – 4% of your total compensation matched dollar-for-dollar.Prime midtown office with state-of-the-art amenities; some WFH flexibility
