Payroll Manager
I’m partnering with a well-established, fast-paced hospitality organization to identify a Payroll Manager who will own end-to-end payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce.This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and responsibility, ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys complexity, compliance, and collaboration with HR and Finance.What You’ll Be Responsible ForProcess bi-weekly/weekly payroll for up to 3,000 employees across multiple states and entitiesEnsure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsServe as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, escalations, and issue resolutionReview and validate timesheets, PTO, overtime, adjustments, garnishments, and deductionsManage year-end processes including W-2s, audits, and tax reportingPartner closely with HR and Finance on reconciliations, journal entries, benefits audits, and reportingMaintain strong internal controls and support system improvements and payroll projectsAct as payroll liaison for annual financial auditsWhat They’re Looking For3–5+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment (1,000–3,000+ employees)Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, FLSA, wage & hour laws, and payroll taxesExperience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, UKG, Paycor, or similarAdvanced attention to detail, organization, and deadline managementStrong Excel and payroll reporting skillsCPP certification a plus (not required)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredWhy This OpportunityHigh-impact position with ownership and autonomyCollaborative environment with HR and Finance leadershipFast-paced hospitality organization with scale and complexity📩 Interested or know someone who may be a fit?
