General Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Maintenance Technician Kwik Trip Inc.'s Building Maintenance department is looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician at our campus in La Crosse and Onalaska, WI. You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of trades including mechanical and electrical repairs, installations, modifications, and adjustments to building and facility equipment. Regular tasks include but are not limited to: Maintain buildings, grounds, and various assets Perform emergency maintenance as required Inspect corporate facilities and equipment on a regular basis Qualifications: 3+ years of maintenance experience on a team Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills Accurate and detail oriented Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks Prioritize, and manage multiple projects Meet department deadlines Possess good problem solver skills Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and manuals Knowledge of hand and power tools Work within safety and regulatory standards Ability to self motivate and carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision Heavy equipment operator and snow plowing experience a plus Small engine repair experience is desirable Possess a valid driver's license Physical requirements: standing for up to 8 hours; lifting up to 100 pounds; bending, reaching and twisting frequently; work in a variety of weather temperatures/conditions.
