Relative Support Worker

To be a successful Relative Support Worker you must become able to do the following always: Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for families served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect and a focus on resilience and recovery. Provide support for, advocacy for and supervision of non-licensed relative and Non-Related Kin (NRKIN) homes. Serve as a liaison between the family and community when organizing and accessing community services and information for kinship families according to their unique needs. Maintain timely documentation in company electronic health record according to Kinship expectations. Complete required assessments and plans required for the home. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines. Back up on-call to the on-call department.
