The Role We Want You ForAs the Electrical Estimator/Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing electrical material, equipment, services, and managing vendors in specific project areas across multiple projects. Carry out market analysis to get the best purchasing deals, insuring material and services are acquired at favorable prices. Assist in assembling volume purchasing agreements with national suppliers. Work with architectural team and technical group to ensure specified products and materials are within company standards. The Specifics of the RoleDevelop and execute electrical procurement strategies while working with others. Assist in seeking, exploring, and securing new revenue and procurement opportunities. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks while partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers. Evaluate EC's bill of material and labor bid for complete and accurate quantities and scope. Perform product takeoff, estimates, and pricing on current and future projects. Gather and prepare product submittals. Prepare product list and quantities for purchase order and change order preparation. Ensure material orders are placed and tracked to ensure timeliness of delivery. Approve invoices as required. Create contacts with key outside Clayco partners to provide CDC materials. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred 5+ years as a sourcing and procurement professional with a minimum of 3 years in electrical procurement 5+ years in estimating, procurement, and project management Strong technical background to speak the language of engineers and strong business background to deal with contracts and negotiations and international business Experience working for an electrical contractor preferred Knowledge of construction principles/practices required Some Things You Should Know Our clients and projects are nationwide Travel will be required.
