Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Omaha, NE
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Omaha, NE on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend Java development, modern frontend frameworks, microservices, cloud technologies, and event-driven architectures.
- Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Java 8+ with strong knowledge of Core Java fundamentals
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring BootHands-on experience with Angular (v10+) or a comparable modern frontend framework
- Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIsProven experience with Microservices Architecture
- Strong SQL and relational database experience with one or more of:
- OracleSQL Server
- PostgreSQLMySQLExperience with Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms such as:
- Apache KafkaJMSMQSimilar messaging technologies
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, business domains, and applications
- Demonstrated ability to support and manage work across multiple projects, teams, or functional areas
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
