M House’s reputation for high quality, creativity and attention to detail sets it apart from the rest. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As our Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our high-end luxury single family homes, maintaining high-quality standards, managing subcontractors, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the home construction process.Responsibilities: Team Management:Serve as the day-to-day construction lead for all projects. Coordinate superintendents, train teams, and make on-site decisions.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to project requirements and schedules.Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the construction team.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professionalism.Manage subcontractor performance, including evaluating their work quality and timeliness.Project Management:Oversee and manage all aspects of residential construction projects, from pre-construction to final completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.Build and maintain a 3-week look-ahead that ties to the master schedule.Call in inspections, manage deliveries, and equipment.Monitor and control project costs to meet budgetary constraints.Conduct regular site visits to inspect the progress and quality of work.Sequence work and manage manpower so the site is productive all day.Coach crews, address performance issues, and resolve conflicts quickly.Keep the site professional: clean, organized, protected, and safe.Quality Assurance:Uphold M House Development's high-quality standards throughout the construction process.Implement and enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and design plans.Address any construction-related issues promptly, finding effective solutions to maintain project progress and quality.Protect installed finishes. Ensure floors, stone, cabinets, windows, and tops are wrapped and maintained.Client Relationship Management:Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional craftsmanship, meeting project expectations, and resolving issues promptly.Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process relating to the building of their home, ensuring clear and effective communication.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and inspections.Prepare regular progress reports for in-house design team and owners, highlighting project status, risks, and recommendations.Utilize and update BuilderTrend with project photos and timelines. Requirements:5+ years as a residential Superintendent or Field PM on custom homes with high-end finishes.Strong team leadership with a track record of directing trades and improving performance.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in residential construction projects.In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
