Job Description Title: Director, Global Aftermarket Strategy & Service ExcellencePosition SummaryAs the architect of our global service ecosystem, you will spearhead the evolution, standardization, and optimization of our aftermarket offerings. You will bridge the gap between technical engineering excellence and commercial profitability, ensuring that our service delivery is consistent across all global regions. By leveraging data-driven insights you will modernize our lifecycle value proposition, driving revenue growth and strengthening our position as a world-class partner in the heavy equipment industry.Core ResponsibilitiesGlobal Governance & Policy: Author and implement the foundational policies that govern our global service portfolio, ensuring a unified "one-team" approach across diverse geographic regions.Operational Standardization: Establish and scale best-in-class service protocols, working in lockstep with regional Sales & Service leadership to eliminate operational silos.Commercial P&L Ownership: Drive the financial health of our parts, repair, and rebuild divisions. You will optimize margins and revenue by aligning pricing strategies with lifecycle profitability goals.Strategic Program Innovation: Conceptualize and launch competitive global programs that elevate the customer experience, using feedback loops and satisfaction metrics to guide continuous improvement.Key Strategic TasksVisionary Leadership: Design a long-term global service roadmap that aligns with enterprise Sales and Service Excellence objectives.Financial Optimization: Partner with Product Managers to analyze cost drivers and pricing structures, identifying untapped opportunities for market share expansion.Performance Analytics: Define and monitor a sophisticated suite of KPIs (including capture rates, resolution efficiency, and NPS) to trigger proactive corrective actions.Modernization & Digitalization: Lead the integration of next-gen service tools and digital solutions to streamline field efficiency and modernize how we support our machines.Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive benchmarking against industry competitors to refine and defend our unique selling propositions (USPs).Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between regional commercial leads and global product teams to ensure localized execution meets global standards.Qualifications & ExpertiseEducational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. An Advanced Degree (MBA or M.Eng) is highly preferred.Industry Tenure: 10+ years of deep-rooted experience in mining or heavy equipment, including a strong understanding of machine design, field application, and dealership dynamics.Process Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in Lean, Design for Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other structured continuous improvement methodologies.Change Catalyst: A proven track record of sponsoring large-scale Change Management initiatives and driving organizational transformation.Project Leadership: PMP certification or equivalent evidence of managing complex, multi-stakeholder global projects.Professional Standing: Active participation in technical societies or industry committees is considered a significant asset.Company DescriptionNuHire, LLC is a direct placement recruiting firm dedicated to helping candidates find long term permanent positions, NOT short term contracts.
