Industrial Maintenance MechanicOxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity. This role is onsite and will support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment in a plant/manufacturing environment.This is a good fit for someone with hands-on experience maintaining large industrial equipment, production machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general plant equipment. Candidates should have a steady work history and be comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting.Compensation Hourly pay based on experience and demonstrated skill level.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on plant and production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systemsRespond to equipment breakdowns safely and efficiently to minimize downtimeUse hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentWeld, fabricate, or modify components as neededAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuildsDocument maintenance activity using a computerized maintenance management systemFollow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirementsWork with production and other departments to support continuous operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredEntry-level to 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a plant, manufacturing, or industrial environmentAbility to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipmentExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, welding, fabrication, electrical, HVAC, CMMS, forklift, or aerial lift work is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs/ladders as neededBasic computer skills for maintenance documentationSafety-focused with ability to follow PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
