Architectural Project Manager

Project Manager / Architect – Charlotte, NCWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Architect (Licensed) to lead projects and mentor staff across all phases—from early planning through construction administration. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing complex, public-sector projects while balancing design excellence, technical coordination, and client communication.What You’ll DoLead multi-phase projects, particularly in education, civic, and higher-ed sectorsOversee design, documentation, and construction administrationCoordinate closely with contractors to manage RFIs, shop drawings, and site visitsPrepare fee proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and contractsUse tools such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and ProcoreSupport pursuit strategies, proposal development, and interview preparationMaintain high levels of design quality, technical accuracy, and project performanceWhat We’re Looking ForLicensed Architect (NCARB required)Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch) or approved licensure path10–15 years of architectural experience, including 5+ years in a Senior PM roleExperience managing publicly funded projects is highly preferredStrong ability to lead teams and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholdersSkilled in navigating multiple deadlines while maintaining consistency and qualityEstablished network within K–12, higher-ed, civic, or community college sectorsStrong writing, presentation, and coordination skillsPreferred CertificationsAIA, CSI, LEED AP, WELL AP, CPTED (not required but encouraged)If you’re a proactive leader ready to step into a role with impact and visibility, we’d love to connect.
