This role requires strong technical leadership, expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC), and experience managing Agile development teams in DoD environments.ResponsibilitiesLead application development and support teams (10-20 personnel)Manage full software development lifecycle from requirements through deploymentImplement Agile/Scrum methodologies and coach team membersCoordinate application releases and change managementEnsure application security and compliance with DoD standardsCollaborate with Government product owners on requirements and prioritiesManage application backlogs and sprint planningConduct code reviews and ensure coding standards complianceCoordinate with DevSecOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integrationTrack and report on application metrics and team performanceIdentify and mitigate technical risksMentor and develop junior developersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8 years of application development experienceMinimum 3 years in team leadership roleCompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationStrong knowledge of Java, .NET, or modern web frameworksExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesActive Security Clearance RequiredDesired QualificationsMaster's degree in related fieldCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe AgilistExperience with DevSecOps practicesExperience supporting Army ERP or logistics systemsCloud development experience (AWS, Azure)Technical SkillsJava, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScriptAgile/Scrum, SAFeGit, Jira, ConfluenceCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)SQL, REST APIs, microservicesIPTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
