Job Title:Manager, ManufacturingJob Description:Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.The Role:Our site in Chaska is seekingaManufacturing Managerto join ourEngineeringteam.The Manufacturing Managerwill work closely with the front-line supervisors to help ensure our employees are working in a safe, quality, and productive manner supporting our Blowmolding, Drum Insert, and Rotomold departments . This role will have 6 direct reports including 2 salaried supervisors and ~60 indirect operations roles. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible and accountable for achieving departmental production requirements by focusing on service, quality, and agility through supervision of staff and other duties as assigned.The Manufacturing Manager plays a key role in translating business and operations strategy into executable engineering solutions while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.The hired individual will be a part of a multi-faceted team that supplies critical solutions to the ultra-high purity semiconductor market. Our technology enables the latest chip technology and its applications, including IoT, AI, machinelearningand 5G.Demandfor our products is rising rapidly and we are looking for someone who can help us ensure that our staff is being developed and trained in the best way possible.WhatYou'llDo:Ensuressafetyof employees and visitors within the company.Monitors work area and employees' performance for adherence to safety procedures, work restrictions,cleanlinessand potential hazards.Ensuresquality parts are produced for customers.Investigates and evaluates quality defects as assigned and determinesappropriate actionsto be taken.Recommendsandimplementssolutions to improve quality of products.Provides recognitiontoemployees.Ensures employee training is provided for effective performance.Addresses issues withemployee, with supportive documentation.Adheres to Company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements.Conductstimelyemployee performance reviews.Coordinates effective delegation of work assignments and training.Implements andmonitorscontinuous quality improvement activities including waste and cost reduction, equipment and tool efficiencies and human resource planning.Develops and maintains production schedules to meet the needs of customers by increasing manufacturing flexibility and reducing lead times.Assistsmanufacturing in solving technical problems and debugging of products or processes.Works with manufacturing managers to specify equipment and fixture needs and coordinates its design, purchase or construction, and implementation with emphasis on design of fixtures.Developsassembly techniques and procedures.Develops manufacturing cost reduction plans.Follows standard Engineering and Technology practices and procedures.Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneoustasks asassignedin order tosupport the overall organization.Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.What We Seek:Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or related fieldorequivalent experience, with 7+ years ofdemonstratedexperience leading manufacturing teams, ideally across multiple departmentsDrive and initiative to build and influence a learning culture in a continuously evolving environmentBudget planning experience, organizational and planning skills, communicationskillsand ability to adapt to workforce, workenvironmentandcustomersneedsStrong desirefor continuous improvement and creativity to bring different ideas for improvement to the tableAstute attention to detail; ability to assess Safety and Quality needs of the site and translate those into operational strategiesAbility to understand and develop data/metrics tovalidatetraining performanceAbility to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)and following site safety/quality standardsExperience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment highly preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes, build alignment, and collaborate across functions and organizational levelsPhysical RequirementsLift up to 40 lbs.as necessaryWork in a manufacturing environment, including time on the production floorMove through industrial spaces, stand for periods of time, andcomply withsafety and PPE requirementsWhat we offer:Our total rewards package goes above and beyond just a paycheck.
