Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support cloud-based data platform initiatives. This role will focus heavily on AWS-driven product execution, stakeholder communication, and managing complex, long-lived initiatives across multiple Agile teams.This is a highly visible role requiring strong communication, technical acumen, and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous requirements while driving delivery across globally distributed teams.What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy:Acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams in a high-impact environmentOwning and driving execution across multiple Agile teams and release cyclesWorking in a cloud-native AWS environment with modern data platform technologiesLeading complex, long-lived product initiatives with global stakeholdersInfluencing roadmap, delivery timelines, and release scope through strategic communicationExperience of the Right Candidate:4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner, Technical Project Manager, or Business Analyst in a software or SaaS environmentStrong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis, etc.) and cloud-native architecturesProven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and navigate competing prioritiesExperience working across multiple Agile teams, including backlog ownership and roadmap managementAbility to translate high-level requirements into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteriaExperience coordinating release scope, timelines, and delivery expectations across cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, and diagramming tools (Lucidchart/Visio)Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholdersExperience working with globally distributed teams and managing time zone alignmentNice to Have:Experience working with international stakeholdersAbility to support occasional off-hours meetingsBackground in data platforms, telematics, or mobility-related systemsPrior development or DevOps exposureResponsibilities of the Right Candidate:Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and engineering teams, managing communication across multiple initiativesOwn and maintain the product roadmap and backlog across multiple Scrum teams with differing release cadencesTranslate high-level business requirements into clear, actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteriaIdentify gaps in requirements and ensure alignment prior to development and code handoffNegotiate release scope and timelines with stakeholders based on engineering capacity and prioritiesTrack and manage long-lived epics across multiple releases, ensuring continuity and alignmentLead quarterly planning efforts, converting strategic direction into executable delivery plansPartner with technical leads to align on scope, sequencing, and execution progressEnsure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned prior to code transitions to reduce defectsSupport integration efforts by identifying issues, tracking defects, and coordinating resolutionDevelop a strong understanding of system architecture to assess feasibility, risks, and dependenciesDrive transparency through status reporting, risk identification, and stakeholder updates
