Volunteer: Grant Writer/Fundraiser

Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify potential grant opportunities and other funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government programs. Write, edit, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for programs related to public health and environmental sustainability. Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to reach new donors and engage current supporters. Track and manage grant deadlines and maintain records of submissions, follow-ups, and awards. Managing budgets and reporting on grant-funded projects. Collaborate with our team to understand funding needs and align proposals with organizational goals and objectives. Keep up-to-date with current trends in grant writing, fundraising, and donation practices. Desired CompetenciesExcellent written and verbal communication and research skills. Proficient in using various grant, fundraising, and donor management platforms. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong ability to work both independently and with a team. Familiarity with public health and environmental issues or a willingness to learn.
