Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Redding, CA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a hospital-based chemotherapy and infusion center. This is a solo provider role supported by an experienced mid-level provider and a full clinical staff. The physician will oversee both the Hematology/Oncology clinic and Infusion Services, with on-site presence required for all infusion treatments. Position Highlights Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center Solo provider model with mid-level support Hospital consults required with call Collaborates directly with ER physicians and hospitalists for admissions Full nursing and administrative support team Schedule & Assignment Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Start Date: February 16–20 (possible ongoing coverage) Setting: Hospital-based outpatient practice Location: Northern California Clinical Responsibilities Diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of Hematology/Oncology patients Physician oversight of: Oncology/Hematology clinic Infusion services Infusion services include: Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Blood and platelet transfusions Hormone therapy Antibiotic therapy Rheumatoid arthritis injections Therapeutic phlebotomies Patient Volume Admissions per day: 15–20 Patients per day: 15–20 Case Mix: All tumor types (Hematology & Oncology) EMR Clinic: iKnowMed Infusion Center: Cerner Support Staff 1 Clinic RN 2 Medical Assistants 2 Front Office Clerks 1 Quality Analyst/Billing Specialist 10 Infusion RNs Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days Requirements (Must-Have) Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology Fellowship trained Active California Medical License DEA ACLS (required if requesting Moderate Sedation privileges) NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of submission Reason for Coverage Provider shortage
