A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Neurology Job Details: • Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts or straight night shifts • Day shift: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM / Night shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week (13-week contract) • Every other weekend required • Holiday rotation required depending on unit needs • Must have 3 years RN experience and 1 travel contract required • ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience strongly preferred • Must have experience with stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical patients • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, and NIHSS • EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred • Black scrubs required • Must be able to float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius • Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence • No on-call or call-back requirements • 8-hour unbillable orientation required • Work on 16-bed neurology unit with 1:4 patient ratios • Care for stroke patients, post-op brain/neck/spine surgery patients, and trauma/TBI patients • Previous travel experience required • Associate degree or certificate required Facility: This healthcare organization operates a specialized 16-bed neurology unit focusing on comprehensive care for neurological patients.
