Blair Stone Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32301Interview-In person Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Database Administrator C. Advanced to support enterprise-level database administration, infrastructure planning, performance optimization, and operational support across multiple database platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in DB2 for z/OS, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server environments, with extensive experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and integrated database infrastructures.This role requires hands-on experience in database architecture, performance tuning, disaster recovery, infrastructure implementation, and mainframe technologies within a complex enterprise environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily database administration and operational support activities Design, implement, maintain, and optimize database structures and schemas Monitor database performance and conduct tuning activities Support DB2 for z/OS, Oracle, SQL Server, and GIS database environments Develop and maintain database administration procedures and technical documentation Conduct SQL code reviews and ensure adherence to database standards Assist with infrastructure planning, implementation coordination, and change management Support disaster recovery planning and database recovery activities Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior technical staff Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support enterprise applications Ensure compliance with FDOT and Agency for State Technology (AST) security standards Perform additional database and infrastructure-related duties as assigned Required QualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Required Technical Skills & ExperienceDatabase TechnologiesStrong experience with: DB2 for z/OS Oracle 10g and above SQL Server 2008R2 / 2012 Experience with database integration, administration, and performance tuning Experience with database schema design and optimization Mainframe & z/OS TechnologiesAdvanced knowledge of: DB2 for z/OS administration and catalog maintenance DB2 subsystem point-in-time recovery JCL z/OS integrated platform ISPF COBOL RACF CICS IOF ASG Scheduler CA GEN model management z/OS monitoring and DB2 monitoring tools Additional Technical SkillsWorking knowledge of: SSMS, SSRS, SSIS Windows Servers Azure AFOPER commands BJS z/OS EXITs Disaster Recovery processes Infrastructure change management verification testing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementTrilyon, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
